In a recent statement, Thomas Tuchel reassured Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich on what to anticipate next season after leading the Blues to their second Uefa Champions League victory.
In the next season, the Blues manager assured the Billionaire additional trophy, which won him a contract extension.
Remember that Abramovich fired Frank Lampard in January after Chelsea slid to ninth place under the former England captain.
Tuchel was then brought in as a substitute.
In a message to Abramovich, Tuchel told the Blues’ official website, “I can tell him that I will stay hungry.”
“I want the next title and I am totally happy, I feel that I belong to a true ambitious club and that I belong to a strong group that fits precisely my views and my soccer enthusiasm right now.
“I want to go to more victories, thus. I want to evolve as a coach, and on the first day of the following season my objective is to push the squad to the limit.
“We got to do work. We’re going to have to close the gap, therefore I’m doing it.”
