Manchester United are reportedly still interested in Fiorentina center-back Nikola Milenkovic.
The 23-year-old defender had a strong 2020-21 season for his Italian club, appearing in 37 games across all competitions, including 34 in Serie A, where he scored three goals.
However, Milenkovic’s current contract with Fiorentina is set to expire next summer, and it does not appear that he will be re-signed, implying that he will leave this summer.
Manchester United’s interest in the Serbia international was said to have cooled, but according to a recent report from La Nazione, the 20-time English champions are still interested in signing him.
According to the report, AC Milan is keeping an eye on developments, and West Ham United may also compete for his signature during the summer transfer window.
Milenkovic, who has recently been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, has made 133 appearances for his club since joining from Partizan Belgrade in 2017.
In other news, Kieran Trippier is said to have decided to stay with Atletico Madrid past the summer transfer window.
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the England international in the upcoming transfer window, as Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeks competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back.
