Thiago Almada, the Argentina international and Velez Sarsfield playmaker, is currently the focus of Manchester United.
Thiago Almada has yet to play in Europe, but he is catching the attention of numerous teams as a skilled attacker who mainly works as an attacking number 10 but is versatile enough to play from either flank due to his offensive ability.
Argentina’s U20 international joined Velez Sarsfield’s development program before being promoted to the club’s under-20s squad in 2018. With the number of people interested in him, it would not be surprising if he decides to leave the club at any time.
Thiago Almada has made 50 appearances for his team, scoring 16 goals in total across all competitions.
Valencia, Ajax, Inter Milan, as well as rivals Man City and Man United, are all keeping an eye on Thiago Almada’s position and are likely to make approaches as soon as it is confirmed that he would be leaving the club at a price yet to be determined by his Argentine Primera Division team.
The club has previously hinted that the 19-year-old will be allowed to leave if a suitable offer for his services is presented.
“There is no way to hold him back,” a board member stated. Add one from the local market and two from Italy to all of the offerings seen in the media. We will wait for the market to open before determining what is real and who is asking, and we will be as serious at the bargaining table as we have been since this government began.”
Thiago Almada, on the other hand, is under contract with Velez until 2023, but there is a chance he may depart before then, especially now that the club has acknowledged their willingness to cash in on him and the enticing offers that could be on the table.
