According to report, Manchester United has begun negotiations with Paul Pogba’s representation about a new contract.
Pogba still has a year left on his contract with the Red Devils, and the club is concerned about his future.
There are worries that Paul will opt out of his contract and depart Manchester United as a free agent next year.
However, the French midfielder appears to be happier and more at ease with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and the club is eager to keep him. And, according to reports, negotiations on a new contract have begun between them and Pogba’s agents.
The Premier League team wants to offer him new terms and make him one of the highest paid players on the list. Paul has taken his advice on his long-term future, while his agent Mino Raiola hasn’t said much in recent months.
The Italian-Dutch entourage will lead the negotiations and Manchester United is hopeful that a full agreement will be reached.
It has been reported in some quarters that Juventus are eager to sign Pogba in a direct trade that would see Cristiano Ronaldo move to Old Trafford. But it seems that the 20-time English champions want to stay with Pogba and secure the player’s future.
