Chelsea have reportedly identified Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore as a possible summer transfer target.
Traore endured a woeful Premier League season last season, scoring just two goals and providing three assists while failing to score in the top level until April 9, when he scored the game-winning goal against Fulham.
However, as he enters the final two years of his Molineux contract, the 25-year-performances old’s have improved, and speculation over his future has grown.
According to The Telegraph, Thomas Tuchel has been handed a £200 million transfer budget for the summer transfer window, and Traore is on Chelsea’s list of objectives.
According to the source, Thomas Tuchel admires Traore’s talents as a wing-back, but Wolves will not allow him to leave for peanuts, thus Jonas Hofmann of Borussia Monchengladbach has been identified as a possible replacement.
Traore has 131 appearances for Wolves in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 18 assists, and he has been called up to the Spain squad for Euro 2020.
